The Sunset Strip is known for its nightlife. As one of the most famous streets in the world, you can enjoy dancing, drinking, and the LA lifestyle after the sun goes down. If you’re lucky, you may run into a star or two, or be discovered yourself with your nightlife dance moves. The Sunset Strip has anything and everything you fancy on a night out.
The Rainbow Room
Restaurant by day, cocktail bar by night. Enjoy live music and an energetic atmosphere at night. Feel the presence of the past, which includes Janis Joplin, Guns N’ Roses, Led Zeppelin and John Belushi’s last meal, as your ears enjoy the beats of the live rock show.
The Roxy
In 1973, Lou Adler and Elmer Valentine started The Roxy in hopes of creating a music venue for all artists. Today, new artists and current artists come together to play music for large and small crowds. “On The Rox” is a special membership club for those wanting to listen to up and coming artists. Membership was once held by John Lennon, Robert De Niro, and other famous stars.
Sky Bar
Located above the pool at the Mondrian Hotel, you’ll feel like you’re floating above the clouds as you look out at the city of LA. It’s a chic place for those wanting to enjoy a drink, chit-chat, and soak up one of the hottest spots on The Strip.
The Viper Room
The club was partly owned by Johnny Depp for many years, but it was originally a jazz bar visited by famous mobsters, like Mickey Cohen. Most famous for its music venue, the club also has a whiskey bar for those who like to sit back and take a break from the sounds from the metal and punk rock bands.
Whisky a Go Go
Whisky a Go Go has hosted some of the most famous bands in the world, such as Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin. Since its opening in 1964, it has been an iconic place on the strip. Today, people go to listen to up and coming musicians and have a drink (or two or three).
